Security Technician/Systems Programmer II

This position is at the core of our 30+ years of service excellence.  Our field techs experience a variety of systems and every technical issue imaginable.  Must like variety, independent work, and daily driving.  Overnights are rare.  At least two years of experience in low-voltage systems work required.  Recent experience with card access or CCTV, and NICET Security certification is preferred.  Starting pay is negotiable, between $15/hour and $28/hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Fire Alarm Technician/Programmer II 

This position is critical to our business, which is 80% commercial fire alarm work.  Our field techs experience a variety of systems and every kind of issue.  Must like variety, independent work, and local driving daily.  Overnights are rare.  At least two years of fire alarm experience and NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems certification required.   Starting pay is negotiable, between $20/hour and $32/hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Fire Alarm & Security Technician/Systems Programmer I

This is our basic technician position.  New technicians will have a variety of work including alarm installations, testing of systems, and service of various systems.  Technicians also learn basic electronics, fire codes, job management, communication skills, and system programming while on the job.  At least one year experience in fire alarm, security alarm, telephone, electrical, CCTV, or other electronic systems is required.  In addition to the benefits listed above, starting pay is $12/hour to $20/hour depending on experience and certifications.

Technical Assistant

This is our entry-level position for those interested in a promotion to Safety & Security Technician I or II.  In this role you will meet many customers and do a variety of jobs.  You will learn to do fire alarm inspections, cable installation, fire and security device wiring, trouble-shooting and service, basic programming of panels, and much more.  The only requirement for this position is a willingness to learn.  Any experience in electrical, construction, wiring, electronics, telephone, or alarms is helpful.  Starting pay is $10/hour to $14/hour, depending on work experience.

Fire Alarm Test/Inspect Technician II

Annual fire alarm testing and inspection are required on all commercial buildings that have fire alarms.  Our fire alarm test/inspect technicians are part fire alarm specialist, part detective, and part liaison to the fire department.  The number of fire alarms and the technical knowledge needed to test and service them expands every year.  This position is vital to our company and our customers.  Most of our customers know you better than anyone in the company, because you come to visit year after year.  NICET II Fire Alarm Systems OR NICET II Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems is preferred. NICET I Fire Alarm Systems or NICET I Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems is required.  Starting pay is $14/hour to $24/hour depending on experience and certifications.
